CHAPTER HISTORY

30 Years of Friendship and Service

The Crown Jewels (NC) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated, located in Charlotte, North Carolina and part of the Southern Area, began as an interest group in 1990. Sponsored by the Charlotte Chapter, the Crown Jewels chapter was chartered on June 19, 1993. Our members have excelled in their professions and have an extensive history of individual civic responsibility, participation and leadership. Collectively, as friends who serve, we have implemented targeted services to address the needs of the local community and the African Diaspora across the world. For over 30 years, the chapter has carried out national and area programming in each of five Facet areas: Services to Youth, The Arts, National Trends and Services, International Trends and Services and Health and Human Services.
